Kindergarten Volunteer Thailand

Love working with children? On our Kindergarten Volunteer Thailand programme, you’ll be in demand! Many children’s care development centres and kindergartens in Hua Hin are facing a teacher shortage problem, often with up to 30 children packed into a classroom. This is difficult for only one teacher to give each individual child as much attention as they need. Therefore, your input will help these children to get some quality teaching time, as you engage them with music, rhymes and games during your stay!

Support Teachers & Help to Give Thai Kids a Better Start in Life

During your time as a Kindergarten Volunteer in Thailand, you will play an important role of helping local teachers in the classroom. Your enthusiasm for learning – with a touch of creative play – will be most welcome here as you help these young children to learn the basics of English. Importantly, this programme is also about building little ones’ confidence and giving them a great start in life, so if you’re a motivated, bubbly person, you will feel right at home here, sharing some of that positivity with kids and staff alike! Incidentally, as schools do not commonly teach English, you’ll find teachers also keen to pick up a little English as you work in the classroom! Win/Win!

Explore and Enjoy the Popular Beach Resort of Hua Hin

After your day of teaching kids, you can head out to explore Hua Hin’s fabulous beaches, extraordinary night markets and delicious street food!  Take in this city’s vibrant culture and meet friendly locals who like to practice their English on you! However, don’t forget you also have great accommodation here, which has plenty of great spaces to relax in and socialise, as well as a swimming pool for those hot summer evenings. Making new friends is a terrific part of our programmes as you stay together (single-gender rooms) and share stories of your experiences on your various volunteer projects.

Places to Visit

Hua Hin is a lively fisherman-town and popular tourist destination, and it has a lot to offer besides just sunbathing, snorkelling and swimming at its golden beaches. Not only are there plenty of seafood restaurants and other eateries to choose from, but visitors can also enjoy golf, spas, shops, markets (including a popular night market), and Hua Hin’s Vana Nava water park. We recommend you also visit Khao Tekiab, a mountain at the end of the beach with a temple atop that overlooks the sea.

In addition, Hua Hin is surrounded by beautiful national parks and you might decide to go slightly further afield to explore the likes of the Pa La-U Waterfall, located 60 km west of Hua Hin on the south side of the Kaeng Krachan National Park. Alternatively, 45 km to the south of Hua Hin is the mystical Phraya Nakhon cave for the more adventurous!

Trip Accommodation
