Environmental Conservation Volunteer Thailand

Whilst many of our Environmental Conservation Volunteers who visit Thailand are budding environmentalists, many more simply have an interest in understanding more about conservation.  On this project, you will volunteer at a Mangrove Ecosystem Learning Centre where you will learn all about the conservation of these beautiful trees and their important place in the ecosystem. Meanwhile, you can also explore and enjoy all that Hua Hin has to offer its visitors, with its beach bars, water activities and exciting days out – all during your stay here, in Thailand!

Work with the Local Community on Conservation in Hua Hin

This project takes place in the main nursery that produces young mangrove plants for the local community. Primarily, your responsibilities will involve preparing the seed and soil, planting and watering, as well as nursing, the plants. However, if you’re a novice, don’t worry! In fact, your coordinator is a local farmer, and will be there to support you as you collect and sort mangrove pods and tend to their well-being. Additionally, you will work in the wider community, cleaning up beaches, creating garbage bins, washing and sorting garbage. Also, you’ll present talks on conservation to the local community, helping them to reduce their carbon footprint and sort their waste properly for a brighter, greener future. In short, this project offers meaningful engagement on environmental issues which will go far beyond the time you spend here!

Enjoy all the Trappings of a Beach Holiday as you Volunteer!

Hua Hin – offers many great activities besides the snorkelling kite-surfing and kayaking that it is known for! For example, take a walk through the streets and enjoy the sights and sounds of the city, or head off on a peaceful trek across Hua Hin’s stunning landscapes and lush forests. Further, our comfortable and spacious accommodation offers a communal pool, hammocks to doze in, as well as other communal areas inside! You might also want to plan adventures with your new buddies, perhaps heading to more remote places at the weekend.
