Education Volunteer in Pokhara

If you have a passion for helping to create better futures for children then join us in Pokhara on our education project. You will spend your time here teaching at small, local schools and foster good relationships with the children as you assist with extracurricular activities and inspire them to achieve their full potential and broaden their perspectives through creatively structured lessons.

Help children grow in confidence as you gain invaluable teaching experience

On this project you will spend your time teaching and educating children, from different age groups, basic English and other subjects, improving their confidence and therefore their futures! Not only that you will be giving teachers the opportunity to have some contact with the outside world, as most people in Nepal can’t afford to travel outside of their village. This will give them the chance to form relationships with someone from another background and culture and learn different teaching methods and techniques. This project really is a two-way sharing experience for all involved, so get ready to learn and give back as you immerse yourself in this project.

Explore the beauty of Pokhara as an education volunteer

There is a lot to see here, from ancient temples and museums, to paragliding, paddle-boating and other adventure activities! In fact, whatever you’re looking for, you’ll likely find it in this understated city, with a wealth of treks, white-water rivers and hills to navigate on your time off! You can also head to one of the many restaurants in the city, offering a wide range of local and Western cuisine. In short, your stay as an education volunteer in Pokhara will be memorable for both you – and the children who will be lucky to have you teach them!
