Culture Excursion & Beach Clean Thailand

Tidying up has never been so much fun! Learn about the Thai culture as you give back to the community with a little beach cleaning on our Culture Excursion & Beach Clean programme in Thailand! Based in the seaside town of Hua Hin, our programme offers the opportunity to immerse yourself in Thai culture through a variety of different cultural activities and sightseeing in the morning, with free time in the afternoons to fully enjoy the gorgeous beach surroundings.

Learn all about the Culture, Rituals & Way of Life for Thai People

Our Culture Excursion & Beach Clean Thailand programme is filled with cultural activities that will show you authentic Thailand. During your stay, you’ll get a chance to explore several famous sights around Hua Hin, followed by Thai customs, language, cooking – and even Muay Thai lessons! Further, you will gain a deeper understanding of the Buddhist way of life, visiting Buddhist temples (‘Wat’ in Thai) and learning some of the basics. And, of course, you will be able to enjoy the famed night markets where you can witness the local Thai lifestyle and taste scrumptious food, delicacies – and pick up some trinkets for friends and family back home!

Give back to the Community with a little Beach Conservation!

Everybody loves a beautiful, clean stretch of coastline! On this programme, you will spend time with local people who will educate you about the flora and fauna surrounding the beaches in Hua Hin, and what they do to protect and conserve them. Thereafter, you will be expected to play your part in helping with the conservation of Hua Hin’s natural surroundings, picking up some of the detritus that has washed up on their shores. After your hard work, you will be able to sit back, relax and unwind amidst white sand and crystal-clear blue waters. And guess what? Every day we’ll take you to a different beach!

Places to Visit

Hua Hin is a lively fisherman-town and popular tourist destination, and it has a lot to offer besides just sunbathing, snorkelling and swimming at its golden beaches. Not only are there plenty of seafood restaurants and other eateries to choose from, but visitors can also enjoy golf, spas, shops, markets (including a popular night market), and Hua Hin’s Vana Nava water park. We recommend you also visit Khao Tekiab, a mountain at the end of the beach with a temple atop that overlooks the sea.

In addition, Hua Hin is surrounded by beautiful national parks and you might decide to go slightly further afield to explore the likes of the Pa La-U Waterfall, located 60 km west of Hua Hin on the south side of the Kaeng Krachan National Park. Alternatively, 45 km to the south of Hua Hin is the mystical Phraya Nakhon cave for the more adventurous!
