Construction and Renovation Volunteer in Siem Reap
You can always count on TRU Experience Travel to help you to step out your comfort zone and the Siem Reap construction and renovation project in Cambodia is no different. Get ready to embrace a new experience while you help support underdeveloped communities by working at local schools and improving the quality of educational environments. This project aims to provide quality learning spaces for students and create buildings and safe spaces that connect communities, creating jobs and improving the standard of the society. It will be hard work but also very rewarding knowing that you are helping to make a difference.
Improve the quality of life for those in the local community
Whilst Siem Reap is a jewel of Southeast Asia, hailed as the main tourist destination and attraction of Cambodia due to its historic and famous Angkor Wat, work needs to be done to some areas and communal infrastructure to improve the living conditions for the locals. This is where you come in, extending help and an extra hand! You will be hard at work but it will be rewarding knowing the impact you have on the community.
Tranquillity, Adventure, Culture – it’s all here for you in Cambodia!
You’ll find many opportunities to explore Cambodia’s rich history, visiting temples and ruins in surrounding areas. However, if you’re an adrenaline junkie, you’ll be busy! Head to the Phnom Kulen Waterfalls, the Park Zip Line Adventure park or take a thrilling jeep journey into the sunset. And if you still have time left, we recommend a ride on the Bamboo Train or a historical visit to the Killing Cave – a place, once of tragedy, and now of beauty. Don’t forget too, that through the week, you can just explore the local area or chill back at your accommodation with your fellow volunteers. Your free time is yours to do as you please!
